Stop crying foul over EVMs, realise public mandate: BJP to Samajwadi Party

LUCKNOW: Instead of crying foul over the electronic voting machines (EVMs), the Samajwadi Party ought to understand that individuals of Uttar Pradesh have rejected it, the BJP said on Saturday, countering to SP boss Akhilesh Yadav's interest for backpedaling to poll papers+ for holding races.

The BJP, which devastated resistance to secure a pounding dominant part in UP gathering polls+ as of late, said it appeared that the previous boss pastor does not have any confidence either in the EVMs or the order of the state's voters.

"It appears that Akhilesh Yadav does not have any confidence in the EVMs (electronic voting machines), the order of the general population of UP, his dad (SP supporter Mulayam Singh Yadav) or his uncle (previous Shivpal Singh Yadav)," BJP's UP unit representative Rakesh Tripathi told PTI.
